Stephen Knott Architects offers a full Architectural service, guiding the property owner through the process, from inception to completion of construction. A partial or reduced Architectural service offers property owners a service tailored to suite the their requirements.

HERITAGE

To retain and protect our built heritage, when planning alterations, additions or, the demolition of any building or structure that is older than 60 years, approval must be obtained from the South African Heritage Resource Agency. Stephen Knott Architects will prepare the applications and facilitate these applications with the Local Authority and the Provincial Heritage Resources Agency.

Sustainable Architecture can be created through; sound design principals, simple planning & appropriate aesthetics. The environmental impact of a building project can be optimised by applying best practice, careful use of materials and where appropriate, suitable technology.

LAND PLANNING APPLICATION

The development of all property is managed through Title Deed & Land Planning Conditions. When considering improvements to a property, it may be necessary to apply for relaxations, waivers or amendments to the applicable conditions. Stephen Knott Architects will assist with this process on behalf of property owners.
